Practice: separable verbs in daily life

In this lesson you review separable verbs. Remember the rule: verb in position 2, prefix at the end.

Typical questions and answers:

• Wann stehst du auf? – Ich stehe um acht Uhr auf. (When do you get up? – I get up at eight.)
• Was kaufst du ein? – Ich kaufe Brot und Milch ein. (What do you buy? – I buy bread and milk.)
• Wann rufst du deine Mutter an? – Ich rufe sie am Abend an. (When do you call your mother? – I call her in the evening.)

Example: Ich stehe um acht Uhr auf und kaufe dann Brot ein.
