Ordinalzahlen (1.-19.) – A2 German Grammar
Ordinal numbers (1st–19th)
Ordinal numbers say in which position something stands (the first, the second …). From 1 to 19 you usually form them with the ending -te. Three forms are irregular: erste, dritte, siebte (and "achte" without double t).

Example: Das ist mein erster Deutschkurs. (This is my first German course.) · Er kommt am dritten Tag. (He comes on the third day.)
