Review: narrating your day
When you tell someone about your day, you combine the Perfekt with "haben" and "sein". Verbs of motion take "sein", most other verbs take "haben". You link the sentences with "und" (and), "dann" (then) and "danach" (afterwards).

Example: Ich bin aufgestanden, habe gefrühstückt und bin zur Arbeit gefahren. (I got up, had breakfast and drove to work.)
