Adjective endings in the accusative (definite article)

The accusative is almost identical to the nominative – only the masculine changes: the article becomes "den" and the adjective ending -en. Feminine, neuter and plural stay the same.

Example: Ich sehe den neuen Kollegen. (I see the new colleague.)

Ich sehe den ___ Kollegen. (neu, Akkusativ)
