Übung: Adjektivdeklination in Sätzen

Practice: adjective declension in sentences

Let's sum up the rules after the definite article. Above all, remember the one exception: accusative masculine = -en. All other singular forms end in -e, all plural forms in -en.

NominativeAccusative
masculine-e-en
feminine-e-e
neuter-e-e
plural-en-en

Example: Der alte Baum steht im Garten. Ich sehe den alten Baum. (The old tree stands in the garden. I see the old tree.)

Ich sehe den ___ Baum. (alt, Akkusativ)
