Review: concessive & conditional clauses
To wrap up B2, an overview of the new adverbial clauses:

Note:
- Concessive = contrast/objection; conditional = condition.
- All with a connector: verb at the end of the subordinate clause.
- Without a connector: verb first (no "wenn"), elevated.
Common mistakes
- ❌ confusing concessive and conditional: "auch wenn" ≠ "falls" – one is an objection, the other a condition.
- ❌ not putting the verb at the end with "falls/sofern/wenn": Falls Sie haben Fragen → ✅ Falls Sie Fragen haben.
Examples:
- Auch wenn es schwer ist, geben wir nicht auf. (Even if it's hard, we won't give up.)
- Sofern alles klappt, sind wir morgen fertig. (Provided everything works out, we'll be done tomorrow.)
- Wäre ich schneller gewesen, hätte ich den Zug erreicht. (Had I been faster, I would have caught the train.)
