Verbs to nouns: the suffix "-ung"
Very many verbs can be turned into a feminine noun with the suffix "-ung". You usually take the verb stem + -ung. The noun is always feminine (die).

Common mistakes

- ❌ die Entwickelung → ✅ die Entwicklung (no extra "-e-").
